Congratulating Arielle Marie Nash on her success as an entrepreneur.

WHEREAS, Arielle Marie Nash was born September 19, 1999 to the parents of Dr. Troy L. Nash and Sherrie M. Lockhart; and

 

WHEREAS, Arielle was raised on Kansas City‘s Eastside in Kansas City, Missouri; and

 

WHEREAS, Arielle graduated from Pembroke Hill High School in 2018; and

 

WHEREAS, Arielle is a current student at Washington University in St. Louis working toward completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies; and

 

WHEREAS, Arielle started a business and as an entrepreneur is President of The Nash Group, a 100% certified minority owned affordable housing real estate development company; and

 

WHEREAS, Arielle was recognized by Ingram’s Magazine in their Twenties class of 2022 cohort; and

 

WHEREAS Arielle is working to provide affordable housing for families with incomes between 30 to 60% of AMI; and

 

WHEREAS, Arielle believes access to affordable housing is a fundamental human right; and

 

WHEREAS Arielle believes housing is essential to an individual’s sense of dignity and respect; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

That the Mayor and Council hereby congratulate Arielle Marie Nash on her success as an entrepreneur; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be presented to Arielle Marie Nash with the appreciation of the Mayor and Council for her hard work and dedication to the Kansas City community.
