Recognizing the efforts, dedication, and commitment of a collective of Kansas Citians that made "The Great Kansas City Cleanup" possible in the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City remains committed to creating a community that is safe, healthy, and vibrant with volunteering initiatives like "The Great Kansas City Cleanup" and through our Kansas City Parks Ambassador program; and

WHEREAS, we uplift the many community members, neighborhood leaders, City employees, and volunteers who took time out of their day to clean up the community we all call home; and

WHEREAS, we recognize the leadership of Kelly Jander, Steve DeWilde, Melissa Kozakiewicz, Louis Cummings, Jean Ann Lawson, Maggie Green, Forest Decker, Dalena Taylor, and Robert Woods II for leading this effort; and

WHEREAS, we recognize Angela Bass, Barbara French, Bridget Harper, Carrie Luce, Carrie Simpson, Christopher Lowrance, Darlene Guess, Elise Jackson, Eric Lane, Erin Olm-Shipman, Eun-Li Deem, Gabby Stanley, Gloria Smith, Joe Zivny, Johnnie Lee, Julia Daily, Kate Delehunt, Kent Stones, Lauren Ellenbecker, Lisa Ray, Lucy Fletcher, Mary Guerra, Nancy Phelps, Nancy Simons, Robin Wall, Sara Becker, Tracy Flowers, Aaron DeWitt, Tracy Hull, Wick Thomas, and Will Oden for their commitment to our community as Kansas City Parks Ambassadors; and

WHEREAS, we recognize Michael Jenkins, Heidi Markle, Mary Guerra, Lara Isch, Chris Hernandez, Colleen Doctorian, Bill Fessler, Terrell Price, and Jen Jutte for their commitment as site leaders as City employees; and

WHEREAS, we hope that the Kansas City community continues to volunteer through the Kansas City Parks Ambassador program on every other day outside of Earth Day to foster, create, and take care of community we can all be proud of; NOW, THEREFORE,
