Consenting to the reappointment of Kevin O’Neill to the board of directors of the Kansas City Conventions and Visitors Association doing business as Visit KC.

                     WHEREAS, the by-laws of Visit KC and a contractual agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri and Visit KC call for a certain number of appointments to Visit KC’s Board of Directors be made by the Mayor with the consent of the Council; and

                     WHEREAS, the Mayor is reappointing one board member to Visit KC’s Board of Directors with the consent of Council: NOW, THEREFORE,

                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

                     Section 1.  That the Council hereby consents to the reappointment by the Mayor of  Kevin O’Neill to the Board of Directors of Visit KC for the term as specified below:

                     Kevin O’Neill

                     Beginning of Term: January 1, 2022

Expiration of Term: December 31, 2024
