BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 9522 in the amount of $1,165,000.00, for a total contract amount of $1,516,000.00 with Finkle-Williams, Inc., for the Laboratory Facility Renovations and Modifications project, Project No. 80002229.  A copy of this amendment is on file in the office of Water Services.

Section 2.  That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to the sum of $1,165,000.00 from Account No. 22-8010-807710-B-80002229, Administration/Service Facility Improvements, to satisfy the cost of this contract.
