Accepting and approving a $14,932.00 grant award from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to establish an Enhanced Gonococcal Isolate Surveillance Project (eGISP) site in Kansas City, Missouri.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, pursuant to which  the State will provide funding to establish an Enhanced Gonococcal Isolate Surveillance Project (eGISP) site for the period beginning August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $14,932.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part by reference.

Section 2. That the Director of Health is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $11,199.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 22-2480-505433-C-G50543323 for this contract.
