BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health (the “Director”), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), pursuant to which the CDC will provide funding for COVID-19 interventions for high risk and underserved populations throughout the Kansas City, Missouri, area for the period beginning June 1, 2021, through May 31, 2023, for an amount not to exceed $3,675,514.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the grant award agreement, in substantial form, is on file with the Director.

 

Section 2. That revenue in the following account of the Health Grants Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

Section 3. That the sum of $2,448,283.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Health Grants Fund to the following accounts:
