Changing the time to begin the March 28, 2024, Legislative Session of the City Council from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.

            WHEREAS, Charter Section 210 provides that the Council shall meet in regular session at times designated by ordinance; and

            WHEREAS, Section 2-42, Code of Ordinances, provides for the regular session of the City Council to begin at 3:00 p.m.; and

            WHEREAS, by this ordinance, the Council has the authority to change the start time for the March 28, 2024, Legislative session from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. and finds it appropriate to do so; NOW, THEREFORE,

            BE IT ORDAINED  BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

            Section 1. That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2-42, Code  of Ordinances, the City Council will begin its regular session on March 28, 2024, in the City Council Chambers on the 26th Floor, City Hall, at 12:00 p.m.
