BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Health is authorized to execute a professional services contract with Lincoln University, in the amount of $192,000.00, for professional evaluation of the implementation of the KC Health IQ Health Literacy Grant, for the contract period of October 15, 2021 to June 30, 2023, to be paid from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 22-2480-505074-B-G50507423.  A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is on file with the Director of Health.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
