 Authorizing a $1,132,980.00 construction contract with Pyramid Excavation & Construction, Inc., for the replacement of water mains in the area of Terrace Street to Gillham Road, Pershing Road to W. 33rd Street; and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $1,246,278.00.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized to execute Contract No. 9302 in the amount of $1,132,980.00 with Pyramid Excavation & Construction, Inc., for the replacement of water mains in the area of Terrace Street to Gillham Road, Pershing Road to W. 33rd Street, Project No. 80002047. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of Water Services.

Section 2. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized a maximum expenditure of $1,246,278.00 from Account No. AL-8077-807705-611060- 80002047, Water Main Replacement Program, to satisfy the cost of this contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
