 Authorizing a $1,881,352.00 construction contract with Pyramid Excavation & Construction, Inc., for the replacement of water mains in the area of West City Limits to Wornall Road, W. 85th Street to W. 93rd Street, and at the Stone Henge Townhomes at 1-143 W. Bannister Road; and authorizing a maximum expenditure of $2,075,000.00.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized to execute Contract No. 9304 in the amount of $1,881,352.00 with Pyramid Excavation & Construction, Inc., for the replacement of water mains in the area of area of West City Limits to Wornall Road, W. 85th Street to W. 93rd Street, and at the Stone Henge Townhomes at 1-143 W. Bannister Road, Project No. 80002048. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of Water Services.

Section 2. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized a maximum expenditure of $2,075,000.00 from Account No. AL-8077-807705-611060-80002048, Water Main Replacement Program, to satisfy the cost of this contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
