RESOLUTION - Honoring Oralee McKinzy and Life 360.

WHEREAS, Oralee McKinzy, as the founder of Life 360, has dedicated her life to empowering Kansas City's youth and fostering community leadership through the integration of education, technology, and cultural preservation, making her a driving force for positive change in our community; and

WHEREAS, since its founding in 2017, Life 360 has opened countless doors of opportunity for young people in Kansas City, providing them with the tools, confidence, and inspiration needed to succeed in an increasingly complex world; and

WHEREAS, Life 360's partnerships with The Watkins Foundation, Creative City KC Inc., and the Kansas City Museum team have significantly contributed to the preservation of our City's rich cultural and historical legacy, ensuring that the stories of our ancestors are remembered and passed on to future generations; and

WHEREAS, the collaboration between Life 360, Creative City KC Inc., and the American Music Apprenticeship Program (AMAP) has celebrated and preserved Kansas City's musical heritage, with the efforts of Anita Dixon-Brown ensuring that this vital aspect of our City's identity continues to thrive; and

WHEREAS, through her visionary leadership and dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion, Oralee McKinzy has united our community, building a brighter, more inclusive future for Kansas City by hosting events that celebrate local achievements and embrace the diversity of our cultural fabric; and

WHEREAS, Oralee McKinzy and Life 360 seek to further their impact by establishing a sole partnership to exhibit, host touring workshop events, and implement programming in and around the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, enriching the community's educational and cultural experiences; NOW, THEREFORE,
