Approving and authorizing the City Manager to accept a Special Warranty Deed conveying fourteen parcels of land in the Fifth Council District from the Land Bank of Kansas City.

WHEREAS, the Land Bank currently owns the parcels commonly known as 8113 Park Avenue, 8128 Wabash Avenue, 8124 Wabash Avenue, 8140 Wabash Avenue, 8117 Olive Street, 8115 Olive Street, 8121 Olive Street, 8114 Wabash Avenue, 8124 Olive Street, 8136 Wabash Avenue, 8120 Wabash Avenue, 2403 E 81st Street, 8113 Olive Street, and 8117 Park Avenue, all located within Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri (the "Properties"); and

WHEREAS, the Land Bank seeks to convey the Properties to the City to explore options for affordable housing solutions; and

WHEREAS, the Land Bank Board of Commissioners voted on November 20, 2024, to convey the Properties to the City; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to accept a Special Warranty Deed for the following real properties:

Tract 1: Lot 22, Block 3, Self's Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri (commonly known as 8113 Park Avenue; Jackson County Parcel No. 47-740-17-08-00-0-00-000).

Tract 2: Lot 7, Block 2, Self's Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri (commonly known as 8128 Wabash Avenue; Jackson County Parcel No. 47-740-16-19-00-0-00-000).

Tract 3: Lot 6, Block 2, Self's Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri (commonly known as 8124 Wabash Avenue; Jackson County Parcel No. 47-740-16-20-00-0-00-000).

Tract 4: Lot 10, Block 2, Self's Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri (commonly known as 8140 Wabash Avenue; Jackson County Parcel No. 47-740-16-16-00-0-00-000).
