Declaring certain real property surplus to the City's needs; and authorizing the City Manager to execute a Purchase Option and Predevelopment Agreement for the sale and development of the parcels located at 2500 and 2526 Campbell Street and to execute other instruments necessary to effectuate such transfer.

WHEREAS, the City owns certain real property located at 2500 and 2526 Campbell Street in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri (the "Properties"); and

WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Proposals on November 16, 2023, soliciting proposals for the sale and development of the Properties; and

WHEREAS, Committee Substitute for Ordinance No. 240399, As Amended authorized the City Manager to negotiate an agreement with Riverstone Platform Partners LLC or an affiliated entity for the sale and development of the Properties; and

WHEREAS, all existing easements, right of way, and/or any other encumbrances affecting the Properties shall remain in effect, as set forth in any conveyances executed as a part of the subsequent transfer; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the parcels located at 2500 and 2526 Campbell Street, as described below, are hereby declared surplus to the City's needs:

The North 35 Feet of Lot 27 and all of Lots 28 and 29, Block 2, Resurvey of Blocks 2 and 3, Continuation of J. L. Porter's Second Subdivision, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Lots 23-26, and the South 25 feet of Lot 27, Block 2, Resurvey of Blocks 2 and 3, Continuation of J. L. Porter's Second Subdivision, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Option and Predevelopment Agreement with Riverstone Platform Partners LLC or an affiliated entity, attached hereto in substantial form.
