Approving a Council approved signage plan for the St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenter’s Regional Council Training and Wellness Facilities to allow a comprehensive sign plan, including a multi-media digital sign, located at the property addressed at 8955 E. 38th Terrace (on the north side of Interstate 70 and west side of Blue Ridge Cutoff). WHEREAS, the St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenter’s Regional Council Training

and Wellness Facilities are located at 8955 E. 38th Terrace (on the north side of Interstate 70 and west of Blue Ridge Cutoff); and

WHEREAS, the St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenter’s Regional Council proposes approval of a comprehensive sign plan for its training and wellness facilities, including a multi- media digital sign; and

WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission on February 16, 2021, recommended that the signage plan be denied; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section A. That a Council approved signage plan is hereby approved for the St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenter’s Regional Council Training and Wellness Facilities of approximately 6 acres generally located at the property addressed at 8955 E. 38th Terrace (on the north side of Interstate 70 and west side of Blue Ridge Cutoff) in District B3-2 (Community Business).

Section B. That a copy of the Council approved signage plan is on file in the City Clerk’s office with this ordinance and is made a part hereof.

I hereby certify that as required by Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances, the foregoing ordinance was duly advertised and public hearings were held.
