Amending Committee Substitute for Ordinance No. 250993, As Amended by Ordinance No. 260568, which sets the Council's schedule for 2026, by reinstating City Council standing committee meetings and business and legislative sessions for the weeks August 17, 2026, September 7, 2026, and November 16, 2026; reducing the contingent appropriation in the General Fund in the amount of $1,000.00 and appropriating the same for the purpose of advertisement related to the updated dates in an outlet of record and general distribution; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby reinstates the standing committee meetings and business and legislative sessions for the weeks of August 17, 2026, September 7, 2026, and November 16, 2026.
Section 2. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:
27-1000-179990-B Contingent Appropriation $1,000.00
Section 3. That the sum of $1,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account:
27-1000-101000-B Public Notice Ads $1,000.00
Section 4. That this ordinance, relating to the appropriation of funds, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(C) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.
