WHEREAS, Ms. Stanley's commitment and determination have resulted in progressive contributions to the Convention and Entertainment Facilities Department; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Stanley began her career with the City on Thursday, March 19, 1998, as a Facilities Attendant with the Convention and Entertainment Facilities Department; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Stanley is retiring as a Senior Facilities Attendant in the Event Support Division of the Convention and Entertainment Facilities Department where she garnered throughout the years vast institutional knowledge, wisdom, and customer service skills while demonstrating the highest standard of professionalism and collegiality by leading staff, with her heart of gold and welcoming spirit for her fellow associates, on the importance of hard work and timely assignment completion; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Stanley is known as a "Quiet Leader" at the Convention and Entertainment Facilities Department, where customer service is highly valued, and no one exemplifies that more than her, demonstrated throughout her tenure as being found dependable, caring, friendly, and supportive. It is not uncommon for her to be stopped by a patron asking for directions; and always with a smile, she would direct them to a meeting room, restroom, or the nearest exit or personally take them to their destination; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Stanley is looking forward to traveling more and spending time with her grandchildren whom live out of state in her retirement; and

WHEREAS, April 30, 2022, will mark the last day of Ms. Stanley's career with the City of Kansas City, Missouri; NOW, THEREFORE;
