BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to accept grant funds from the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency from the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG)-American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in the amount of $5,264.23. The EMPG-ARPA is a 50/50 cost share for supplies for EOC operations. These funds will be used to purchase 2 replacement MOSWIN radios for operational communications and interoperability.

Section 2. That revenue in the General Grants Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount.

Section 3. That the sum of $5,264.23 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Grants Fund to the following accounts.

Section 4. That the City Manager is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 22-2580-105430.
