Approving contracts in the amount of $89,200.00 from the previously appropriated funds in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund with various nonprofit organizations selected as part of the FY 2021-2022 second quarter application cycle for the purpose of promoting neighborhoods through cultural, social, ethnic, historic, educational, and recreational activities recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Neighborhoods Department is authorized to execute contracts in the total amount of $89,200.00 with the following agencies in the respective amounts for Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund projects from the funds previously appropriated in Account No. 22-2350-672100-B.

Section 2. That this ordinance relates to expenses of government and is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(B) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with that section.
