Authorizing the Director of General Services to execute a one (1) year lease agreement with one two (2) year option to renew with WeCode KC, LLC, for the use of a tech headquarters and training facility located at 2534 Prospect, Kansas City, Missouri 64127.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

                     Section 1.  That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund, is hereby estimated in the following amount pursuant to the WeCodeKC, LLC lease agreement:

21-1000-071600-457500                                          City Property and Acquisition                                 $1.00 - FY 21-22

                     Section 2.  That the Director of General Services Department is authorized to execute a lease agreement with WeCode KC, LLC that requires the tenant to be solely responsible for all tenant improvements, maintenance costs and utilities in lieu of rent for the purpose of the use of an office space beginning August 15, 2021 and ending August 15, 2022.  A copy of the lease agreement is on file in the General Services Department.
